Born in 2005, featuring members of some of Australia's most prominent past punk bands such as Crucified Venus, Crankcase, Rule 303, World War 24 and Black Rose.

Gazz's clever lyrics punch out Aussie pride and passion. They exude tales of inner city life, love and death. 

Rust have played wit such heavyweights as Dead Kennedys, GBH, Bad Manners, The Last Resort, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, BeerZone, The Exploited, UK Subs, The Business. Sham 69, Rose Tattoo, The Varukers, The Vibrators and the Old Firm Casuals.

They have toured the US, New Zealand and the UK playing the massive Rebellion Festival in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

2014 will see the band hit Europe for their biggest tour to date, promoting their new album "Doctors, Lawyers, Strippers & Fools", which is a collection of the band's 7" output over the past year. It also includes two live tracks and two brand new tracks unavailable anywhere else.
